Stevie Nicks Announces Solo Tour That Will Be Hitting 26 Cities

Rejoice Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks fans! Stevie is going on tour and it’s going to be amazing. The tour will be called the 24 Karat Gold US Tour, and it will be visiting 26 cities.

She was talking to the New York Times about the tour and said:

I just woke up one morning and said, I have two years off before Fleetwood Mac comes knocking on my door. Why would I want to sit around and do nothing?

Nicks released her last album, 24 Karat Gold, back in 2014 and that’s what she will be mostly performing. The Pretenders will be joining her as the openers for this tour.

She talks about touring with Fleetwood Mac, versus touring solo with the NYT:

Fleetwood Mac is a team. When you’re on a team everybody has the same vote β€” except in this particular team Lindsey [Buckingham] has a little bit of a stronger vote than anybody else. I love being part of a team. We argue all the time, but we always have.

In my band, there is no arguing. I am the boss. My solo career is probably the reason Fleetwood Mac is still together in 2016, because I was always happy to leave Fleetwood Mac, and I was always happy to come back, too.
